Zombie Trojans — Night of the living spam
First post, and I thought I would chip in with some links to other blogs I read occassionally. I saw a presentation by Mykko Hypponen of F-Secure, who gave the keynote at Virus Bulletin 2006 in Montreal. Amazing presentation, and funny too. Who knew viruses, or Finns were that funny. So you can get to the F-Secure blog
Nice analysis of the Storm worm, which they call Stormy. Cute, huh? F-Secure is one of our partners, using us for Anti-Spam today, and also using our Zero Hour AV service via the Proofpoint appliance that they have under the F-Secure badge.
Let’s keep going, and now I will point to a blog by another partner, Message Partners. They provide email defense for enterprises and small service providers, and I’m excited to work with them since they have tested and tried all of the anti-spam technology providers, including Commtouch and some other California companies. You can see their approach at Message Partners
I also saw a great presentation on zombies at Virus Bulletin by Jose Nazario of Arbor Networks. His presentation is available at http://monkey.org/~jose/presentations/vbcon2006.d/.
Last one, and this is a blog at a company I have been watching for a few months. They have not posted recently (so why are you linking to them, you may well ask!) but I like the tone and the information they provide. Trimmail Blog
